Thorns of Roses was founded by Vanesse Tan with the hope of bringing inspiration to every woman—about beauty, about life, and about creativity.
Vanessa lives in the vibrant city of Chengdu, China and has been running an vintage jewelry store since 2009.
Later, She has expanded and opened a fashion clothing store，she has 15 years of e-commerce experience
Meanwhile,she now writes gripping crime thrillers,her work is both intense and thrilling. Vanesse’s life is also filled with the love of her 8 cats, who provide her with comfort and company during her writing sessions.
Though Vanesse has pursued different careers and hobbies over the years, She always have love for beauty, particularly vintage jewelry, brought her back ,and inspired her to found Thorns of Roses, a brand that embodies both elegance and resilience.
Much like the thorns of a rose, their journey—both individually and together—has been about embracing strength while never compromising on beauty, both inside and out. Through Thorns of Roses, Vanesse hope to inspire women to adorn themselves confidently, with the knowledge that even delicate beauty can be fierce.
